What We Do
Heartstrings Community Foundation is a unique Employment Service for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities who desire an employment opportunity where community interaction is a significant portion of their day.
Individuals that participate in HCF’s® Employment Services earn wages based on their accomplishments.
The HCF teams are experiencing transitions every 30-50 minutes for a 5 1/2 hour day. HCF also provides job coaching and follow along services. To contact HCF call Bunny Higgins or Claire Crowley at 913.649.5700.
Healthy lifestyle choices and volunteerism are important components. We volunteer in the community, providing nursing home visits and meal delivery for Meals on Wheels.
We own and operate four businesses – Goody Delivery, Sacks on Santa Fe, Heartfully Made and Gift Baskets.

A boutique clothing store for women and men offering resale clothing as well as a selection of “new” accessories and home décor items. Located in charming Downtown Overland Park!
Heartfully Made
Items created by our individuals include wreaths, custom pallets, home and garden creations, and our to seller – greeting cards. All items are hand-crafted, created with love, and sold at Sacks on Santa Fe.
Gift Boxes
Our popular boxes can be personalized and are great for employee and client gifts or any special occasion. They are made from the heart and always appreciated and loved by all.
