Annual Heartstrings in Bloom Gala Raised $133,746

Heartstrings Community Foundation recently held its annual major fundraiser, Heartstrings in Bloom, April 9th. Community members and businesses from all over the greater Kansas City area attended and the $133,746 raised will go towards continuing to empower those of all abilities.

“In addition to the excitement of Heartstrings being in its 20th year of service, being able to hold the gala in-person after 2 years made it extra special”, shared Anne Hull, founder.

“Our supporters have become dear friends and we’ve missed being together terribly,” said executive director, Bunny Higgins. “We did our best to make up for lost time and thoroughly enjoyed the in-person experience of reflection, recognition and celebration.”
