Wage:
- 10:00 PM- 6:00 AM $16
- 6:00 AM- 10:00 AM $18 – PT or $20 – FT
Sign -On Bonus: $500.00 after 90 days of employment

Position Summary:
Direct Support Residential Staff provides compassionate, person-centered care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This role assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promotes independence, dignity, and community inclusion, and helps ensure each individual’s health, safety, comfort, and overall well-being. Responsibilities include implementing goals identified in the Person-Centered Support Plan (PCSP), fostering a safe and positive home environment, and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor residents throughout the night to ensure safety and respond to needs as they arise
- Provide assistance with personal care and other needs during overnight hours
- Support residents with morning routines, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Prepare and assist with breakfast and pack lunches for the day
- Transport residents to work, employment programs, or day service sites safely and on time
- Maintain accurate documentation of care, incidents, and overnight activities
- Follow individualized care plans and support strategies for each resident
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status and needs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to pass background check and required screenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and responsive throughout overnight shifts
Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Required Physical Activities:
- Maintain CPR/First Aid certificate
- Ability to lift 30 lbs or 1/4 of body weight
Driving Requirements:
- Ability to travel independently to various locations
- Ability to adhere to HCF’s transportation policy
Other Requirements:
- Maintain all training required by HCF
- Ability to meet state required background checks
- Submit to periodic drug testing
