Meet Our Dedicated
Board of Directors
At Heartstrings Community Foundation, leadership is more than a title—it’s a commitment to compassion, community, and creating opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. If you’re someone who believes in the power of purpose-driven work and wants to make a lasting impact, we invite you to consider joining our Board of Directors.
The Heartstrings Board is a dedicated group of individuals who serve as both the guiding force and the heart of our organization. They provide governance, strategic oversight, and help drive the development efforts that sustain our mission. Each board member is a champion for inclusion, a voice for those we serve, and a vital part of our story.
We are currently seeking three new board members to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lend your talents, share your insights, and help shape the future of Heartstrings. Whether you’re experienced in nonprofit leadership or simply have a passion for giving back, we welcome your interest.
What’s Involved?
Board members commit to a three-year term, during which they:
- Attend six meetings per year (January, March, May, July, September, and November)
- Host one HCF Community Coffee annually to engage with the public
- Support our mission by donating or facilitating a donation of at least $1,500 per year
- Attend at least 50% of Heartstrings events
- Advocate for Heartstrings throughout the community
Each director receives business cards and event name badges, and becomes part of a close-knit team working toward a shared vision of empowerment and inclusion.
If you’re ready to lead with heart and help us grow, we’d love to hear from you. For more information or to request an application packet, please contact Anne Hull at anne@heartstringscf.org.
